Imagine the transformative power of a school uniform—
a symbol of unity, equality, and belonging!
Empowering every student, irrespective of their economic background, to feel equal, confident, and united among their peers. This is the mission of #DressProudly Campaign.
Despite being only 33.2 km from Ring Road, Kathmandu, Southern Lalitpur is an underserved region which is isolated from the valley. Students at Malta don’t have access to the same level of opportunities that those at the core part of the valley have. In fact, many students in this region walk over two hours everyday in dangerous terrain with ill-fitted clothes to reach their school
The #DressProudly Campaign’s new chapter will unfold in Malta village, Southern Lalitpur, with 475+ students from 8 schools as its primary beneficiaries
The Power of Uniform: Fostering Identity, Equality, and Focus
A school uniform, seemingly a simple piece of attire, holds within it a remarkable power to shape perceptions, instill values, and foster a sense of belonging.
At its core, a uniform erases the lines that socio-economic differences might draw among students.
